To get the most out of your coconut beeswax candle, please follow these simple safety care instructions, and for longer burns, follow these tips:

• First Burn is Key: Burn your candle until the wax melts across the entire surface. This ensures an even burn and prevents "tunneling," where the wax only melts in the center.
• Trim Your Wick: Trim wicks to 1/4 of an inch before each lighting. This promotes a clean, steady flame and prevents soot buildup.
• Limit Burn Time: Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Allow the candle to cool completely before relighting.
• Keep it Clean: Always keep the wax pool clear of wick trimmings, matches, and any other debris.
• Stable Environment: Burn your candle away from drafts, open air vents, or ceiling fans, which can cause uneven burning and flickering.  
• Safety First: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep burning candles out of reach of children and pets.
• Extinguish Safely: We recommend using a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame. 
• Do not Blow: Soot and Smoke: Blowing often stirs up the wick and the surrounding melted wax, leading to a significant increase in smoke and soot. This can leave black residue on the candle container, surrounding surfaces, and even in the air. It can also negatively impact the scent throw of the next burn
• Wick Maintenance: After extinguishing, center and gently straighten the wick. This helps ensure an even burn the next time you light it.
• Wick Straightening Timing: You need to center and straighten the wick after extinguishing is helpful (e.g., "This helps ensure an even burn the next time you light it.").
