How to Clean Beeswax off Surfaces - 3 Easy Steps

Drips and spills can happen even if you use "dripless" candles. Drafts or other external variables are frequently to blame. Clean beeswax or other candle wax from smooth surfaces like hardwood tables or countertops with these three simple procedures.

Allow the wax to cool completely before using it. Attempting to wipe or scrape it up before it has completely cooled may cause it to smear and create an even greater mess.
Pick up any large bits of loose wax, then use a plastic scraper to carefully scrape out the remaining wax. It's best to use an old plastic card from your wallet because they usually have rounded sides that won't damage the table.

Wipe away any remaining wax residue with paper towel or soft cloth and small bit of orange oil cleaner

(We recommend doing a spot test in an inconspicuous location first to check for discoloration.)
